The Sunset Sunday 2014 Calendar – Chasing the Sunset

If you know me, you know I love the magic of the sunset. I always take, and make, the time to watch and enjoy the sunset on my travels across the globe. I also share them on the Sunset Sunday Series.

The series began in 2010 and has over 180 sunset moments and for 2014, I decided to create a calendar with some of my favorite images.

The 2014 Sunset Sunday Calendar

With so many sunsets to choose from, I created the inaugural Sunset Sunday Calendar with a specific theme. I selected images taken from the month they represent in the Sunset Calendar. Yes, the January image was taken by me in January, February in February and the same all the way through the December image. I want to give calendar owners a chance to see the sunset as it appeared in the month it represents.

How to Purchase Your 2014 Sunset Calendar

Want a copy? Well you can purchase your own. So be inspired and motivated to travel by viewing sunsets from across 3 continents and five countries. Interested? I thought so, purchase your sunset calendar here:

Craig, the cover image is amazing – surreal beauty with the blue water and blue mountains in the distance. Wow! I’m going to guess… Nayarit, Mexico.

Beautiful cover choice, Craig. The calendar is a great idea. I can’t wait to get one. I’m going on a limb and guessing Malaysia. Best of luck.

Thanks Mary. Malaysia offers wonderful sunsets too. But with all guesses I am going to ask people to be more specific; you need more than just the country. Thanks. Stay guessing, Craig

Thanks Carol, I am going to credit this also as a guess for Nice, France ;-). Actually, France is a country I don’t have in the #SunsetSunday series yet… but I hope to rectify that shortly. Stay guessing, Craig

The Florida Keys! Looks like a great calendar! #staymysterious

Mary Anne, thanks… I hope people like the calendar, it certainly does have some great images… thanks for the support. As for your guess… a good one and actually the FL Keys are represented twice in the calendar January with Key West and April with the Upper Keys and Islamorada… I spend a ton of time there. But it is not the FL Keys… Stay Guessing, Craig

  • Raul (@ilivetotravel)

Rio de Janeiro! I can see how this became the cover!

    • http://www.stayadventurous.com/ craig zabransky

Raul, Rio, how I loved the beach at sunset in Rio…. It’s been too long since I’ve been in Brasil, and this is not from the World Cup Host… but thanks for reminding me I need to return… stay guessing, Craig

    Chiang Mai?

    • http://www.stayadventurous.com/ craig zabransky

Although in Travel Blogging all roads do lead to Chiang Mai, I unfortunately do not have a sunset from the special place… But I know I’ll get many once the big project kicks in… Stay famous, Craig

Coming in for another guess. Sigh. Kata Beach area at Phuket, Thailand. Have a great week, Craig.

    • http://www.stayadventurous.com/ craig zabransky

Mary you went with the wrong country, but I love your persistence. Try your other guess, it’s NOT Thailand. Stay Guessing, Craig

I wouldn’t be so persistent without all these challenges. :-) I take my challenges seriously. Last guess… Borneo, Malaysia Have a great week, Craig.

I honestly have no idea, and after stalking the previous comments, I am more confused than I was before. Costa Rica, perhaps?

    • http://www.stayadventurous.com/ craig zabransky

Erin, good guess as I was just there… And I did capture sunsets from Costa Rica both on my most recent trip and my first time but neither are the cover. Sorry.
But you scored points picking Costa Rica since on my RTW it was watching the sunset in Tamarindo that helped essentially create this series.

      Stay loving Costa Rica, Craig
