Adventure Awaits in the Adirondack Mountains of New York with #EatPlayLoveNY

My adventures shall take me “South of the Border” once again. Well this time, it’s different, and it’s a chance to further explore my native state of New York and the Adirondack Mountains.

My flights landed in Montreal, where I enjoyed 24-hours of French Cosmopolitan Canada before heading back “South of the Border” to New York. As part of a week-long adventure I’ll be traveling across upper and northern New York and its Adirondack Region on a trip labeled Eat, Play, and Love New York.

Last summer I visited a portion of the region for a week staying in Saranac Lake. Spending a week at a cottage called the pond house, living like a local including enjoying a Saranac Lake Sunset was a much different experience to the prior winter weekend in Lake Placid. But with two visits last year, I knew I wanted to return and continue to explore. And now I am once again. Do I love New York? Yes. Now it’s time to #EatPlayLoveNY

As an invited guest to the region, I will be joining a team of bloggers on a week long adventure. The packed itinerary seems we will truly get a taste of the region. Here are some highlights:

  • Taste local craft beer, visit vineyards, and eat locally sourced cuisine
  • Wade in the water to fly fish and also get active paddling kayaks on the regions many waterways
  • Hike and bike scenic paths and take in majestic mountain views
  • Appreciate the region’s traditional art, music scene, and learn some history too
  • Get toasty by s campfire with some marshmallows

Follow Along. #EatPlayLoveNY
