2017 Sunset Sunday Recap Video; Toast to 2018 Sunday Sunsets

No doubt the Sunset Sunday Series visited amazing places again in 2017. With eighteen posts across Asia, Europe, and the Americas we visited and learned about special sunset moments not just from me, but largely from guest posts from my readership and other fellow travelers and fans of the sunset. From a sunset in Wadi Musa Jordan to paragliding at sunset in India, to the European islands of Croatia at sunset to the wondrous waters of Halong Bay for a sunset in Vietnam there were plenty of places from my bucket list. There were also ventures deep into the wilderness of the American West with a fun sunset celebration story in Montana and another one after fly fishing in Alaska, along with many more. Twelve Sunset Sunday guest posts in total showcasing plenty of magical moments around the world in 2017.

Cheers to a new adventure (at sunset) – Cuba awaits

Of course my travels included sunsets too. See sunsets in Finger Lakes, sailing to Cuba at sunsetFlorida Keys sunsets where two made the special 2018 Florida Keys Road Trip Calendar that gives $10 of the proceeds to Hurricane Irma Relief Efforts  (order your copy here), the milestone 300th sunset Sunday – a celebration at sea of my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary, and more.

In all another special year. Take a look and view the sunsets from 2017.

2018 Sunset Sunday

With every January, I expect to continue the series with gusto, especially after creating the year in review. This year was no different. Yet, thanks to friends and readership with guest post submissions and also some recent travels, I have a few sunsets already lined up and waiting for Sundays to pass. So stay tuned for more in 2018.

Plus after reaching the 300th Sunset Sunday milestone I realized I must press on to at least three hundred and sixty-five. Yes, a sunset for every day of the year. Well since we can witness the sunset every day, I need to have a sunset for each day of the year, right? So it will continue in 2019 too.

For now, I am spoiled with my sunsets here in Islamorada and often photograph them and share via twitter and instagram (@stayAdventurous – follow)  but I will definitely share from beyond the Florida Keys and across the world yet again in 2018.

Enjoyed the recap but am glad i started ordering the calendar a few years ago–I had almost gone completely to computer record keeping–but in truth that does not replace the daily calendar for being handy–plus the photos are super
