After five fun filled days loaded culinary delights, charming walks and a wild weekend of college football, my trip to South Carolina had just one more evening. Earlier in the week, I watched a warming sunset from the Charleston waterfront and this night, I decided to see if I could find a sunset in Columbia.
I left the downtown Marriott, grabbed my camera and walked to dinner. On the way, I found my moment. My stop – the capitol building. An impressive, stately edifice with courageous columns proved the perfect place. Illuminated with the days final sun beams, I took a few images before heading on further down the street for my date with some oysters at Pearlz.
