Central Park, the iconic must visit when traveling to New York city can be the perfect setting for some romance. The spacious park, located in the center of the city and offers the unique views of city scape and the skyline from deep inside the park. In spring when flowers bloom, the grass grows green, and many birds return to the park, a walk through Central Park can be romantic. Very Romantic.

The Romance of Romeo and Juliet
As an actor at heart, one of my favorite activities in Central Park is Shakespeare in the park. Produced by The Public Theater located at the Delacorte Theater inside the park attendance is free, provided patrons wait in line for tickets on the day of the performance. This year, the two performances Much Ado about Nothing (June 3 – July 6) and King Lear (July 22 – Aug 17). for details see here.
Certainly his plays might not all be romantic, but I guess that depends all on who you take with you to see them.
