After my first full day in the Riviera Nayarit we returned to the Paradise Village Hotel just in time for the sunset. I headed out to the beach with my camera to rest in a lounge chair to wait and watch. This part of Mexico didn’t disappoint, it never does.
Although subtle, a majestic magenta slowly peeked through the clouds and at times it proved show-stopping (or should I say, stroll-stopping).
So, as Mexico is celebrating its Independence Day this weekend, officially beginning tonight at 11pm with “El Grito,” I know a few people who will be celebrating the long weekend at the beach watching the beauty of a Mexican sunset. Good choice in my book.
Happy Sunset Sunday and Happy Independence Day Mexico, as you celebrate it tonight with the “grito” (And no, it is NOT “Cinco De Mayo“).
Stay adventurous, Craig
