This coming week reminds me about being thankful and giving thanks. And on Thursday, Thanksgiving, I’ll spend time with family and friends. We’ll eat, we’ll drink, and we’ll also give thanks to the people and events in our lives that make it special.
But as you make your list to give thanks, or perhaps prepare your toast before you carve the turkey, join me and give thanks to nature too. To say thanks to all she (Mother Nature) provides. To give thanks to her miraculous creatures, the beauty of her landscapes and of course don’t forget to give thanks to the moments and memories shared over a sunset. I know I will.
So, for this week, I selected a special sunset. I selected a time I shared with family and friends, shared with nature and also enjoyed a sunset. Here is a sunset from a recent hike through the fall foliage at Glimmerglass State Park. Enjoy and Happy Sunset Sunday.
Also, have a Happy Thanksgiving Week.
I am thankful for each and every sunset, the ones I share with family and also the ones spent solo, but the reason this image made the 2015 Sunset Sunday Calendar is because it serves as a reminder that the Sunset is available in all seasons, all year. Take in a fall or even winter sunset, enjoy them all.
Stay thankful, Craig
